slow draw but better shot?

OK, I admit it. I’m paying big bucks for cable and about the only show I watch (outside of the NFL) is Gunsmoke repeats. After a long day at the whacko farm (AKA work) by the time I get home and kick my shoes off, it’s 7PM. What, I’m gonna watch Entertainment Tonight? Give me a break! So, Gunsmoke it is on the Western Channel. However, I’ve been paying close attention to the opening scene to each show, the big gun slinging draw. I’ve determined that Matt Dillon does not draw first! In fact, his gun is not even half way up when the other guy’s gun goes off. So, one can only assume that the other guy is a bad aim, otherwise, Matt would be leaking all over your TV set, and the series would never have run 432 years! Kind of disappointing isn’t it, discovering that your child hood heroes are really just lucky!?
