My Spam Email Today
December 27th, 2007 by Howard | No Comments | Filed in MainYou know, I opened up my spam email folder and saw all the important emails I received. Wow, I have a lot of work to do apparently! According to the emails:
- My Wells Fargo bank account is on hold, and I have to log in with my account number, password, and the combination to my bicycle lock. Dammit, I didn’t even know I had an account with Wells Fargo!
- The pharmacy orders that I also don’t remember placing are on hold too, as they need my credit card number, birth date, last four digits….they didn’t say of what, so I assume they mean either my social security number or the last four fingers of my left hand? How the hell am I going to email those?
- I’ve apparently, during sleep walking no doubt, joined a black singles club. That’s kind of odd since I am white and married, and besides, I’m 30 pounds over weight and bald. I think I would have to join an old and ugly singles club to have any success, and of course, my wife would probably not approve of that. Then again, she is going through menopause, and there was that one time last summer she tried to sell me on Ebay…..
- She didn’t get any bidders, and probably because, according to the next email I see, my penis is the size of a cashew. However, the email says they have a product that would make it so large I could use it to hit baseballs with.
- Apparently I’m dumb as a sack of rocks too, as this other email says I won’t amount to anything until I purchase their Masters degree online. All I have to do is to demonstrate college level expertise such as the ability to sign my name to a check and I’ll have my degree!
- Oh, yeah, I apparently got drunk one night last month and entered a World International Lotto Contest. I sure don’t remember anything about it, but I won! Yeah, according to the President of the World International Weasel Brain Lotto Commission they have a cashiers check in the amount of 300 trillion dollars and 12 cents in my name! They just need my checking account number, password, left shoe size and one of my cats and they will deposit the cash!!!
So, you may not see me blogging for a spell, as I have to follow up on all of these important emails.
Meanwhile, I hope all of you are enjoying the post Christmas pre-New Year’s holidays!
Peace my friends!

Merry Christmas!

There are many faiths of the world, including agnosticism and atheism. All are systems of thinking. No one, not one person, doesn’t have some sort of system of thinking about why we are here, where we came from and what the meaning of life is. Even if you believe in none of the world’s religions, that in itself is your faith. If you believe we are all just chemical reactions inside our flesh and blood brains, and there is no significance or meaning beyond that, well, that is your faith.
The Christian faith is the simplest faith on the planet. And the most joyful. Many people distort the Christian faith, including self proclaimed Christians, but even those wackos can’t hide the foundational principles of faith in Jesus Christ. You don’t have to work your ass off to be loved by God and earn your place in the afterlife. You don’t have to bow on your knees seventy-three times a day facing a particular direction. The bottom line is this:
- The Creator of the universe, created you.
- The Creator of the Universe loves each and every one of us. Personally.
- Jesus Christ was God, and he showed us the way. He lived. He died. He lives again. As we will.
- Jesus Christ took all of our possible guilt about anything we ever did wrong, or will ever do wrong, away by dying on the cross.
Accept that Jesus Christ is God. Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
That is it. Accept that there is some order in the universe. Accept that there is a greater intelligence and this intelligence personally loves you. And that Christ was God made human.
There is no simpler religion on the planet.
You know, of all the major religions of the world, all of the founders lives many years. Except Christ. His ministry was just barely three years, and took place in a backwater region of the Roman Empire. And the “founder”, Jesus Christ, was put to death. When the followers claimed that He had risen and was alive, and was God our Savior, the Roman Empire used them as lamps. The Emperor set them afire alive and let them burn to light the night. They were murdered by the hundreds. Yet, they continued to preach love. No other “empire” in the universe could defeat the Great Roman Empire. Yet, with all their power and determination, they could not stop a rag tag group of Christians. Soon, the entire Roman Empire became conquered by the Christian faith.
About two thousand years ago, Jesus taught for just three years. And no other person or force or group has ever come even close to having the impact on the entire Human Race as He has. And continues to have. The Christian faith is the single most attacked faith on the planet. In all history, no other thing has been attacked so viciously and consistently as the Christian faith. In fact, even today, in over fifty countries the Christian faith is against the law. In Muslim countries, you can be put to death simply by becoming a Christian. Yet, it continues to grow.
I can’t let this sacred day, Christmas Day, go by without acknowledging that Jesus is my Lord and my Savior. I respect everyone’s right to hold whatever faith they wish. I respect their right to practice their faith, even if their religion is atheism.
But the Christian faith has been distorted too much by the media and by idiots who claim to be Christians. I have to stand up and tell you that Jesus Christ is not about hate. Not about judging you. Not about racism or prejudice. The Christian faith isn’t liberal or conservative. Isn’t gay or straight. Christ is about our soul. The essence within these flesh and blood bodies that is the real us. And our souls are neither male or female, neither black or white. Rich or poor. Our souls were created by God, and is part of God. And God loves each and every one of us. And that is the real story of Jesus Christ. Total love, and total acceptance.
Peace my friends. And a very Merry Christmas!
