Caught this from The Hill,
“Sens. Kent Conrad (D-N.D.) and Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) on Wednesday introduced legislation that would remove all references to the word “lunatic” from federal law, a step they said is needed to reflect the country’s modern understanding of mental-health conditions.”
I’m not s sure this is such a high priority considering all the other things going on in this country.
Apparently a bunch of sensitive individuals with nothing better to do with their time decided “Lunatic”was “offensive”.
My question is, to whom? To the Lunatics? I’ve not heard of any wackadoodles complaining about that. And trust me, I work with quite a few!
Bu then I figured it out!
The word “lunatic” appears in at least one spot in the U.S. Code — in Title 1, Chapter 1, which covers rules of construction. Chapter 1 holds that when determining the meaning of any law, “the words ‘insane’ and ‘insane person’ and ‘lunatic’ shall include every idiot, lunatic, insane person, and person non compos mentis.”
OK, I see now! They are obviously talking about VP Joe Biden!
In a speech at New York University Law School, Biden suggested that President Obama is the clear choice this election and made the joke that the incumbent candidate has a lot to be confident about.
“I promise you, the president has a big stick,” Biden said.
Ohhhhkay. I’m not touching that one with a ten foot….stick.

I’m offended by all of the lunatics (hasn’t been outlawed yet) out there trying trying to regulate what people can and cannot say. Reduces the language to excrement.
